J.D. Souther는 Roy Orbison의 추종자(?)로서, 제가 며칠 전에 올린 Only the Lonely 라이브에서 백코스를 맡은 사람이기도 합니다. (시작 부분에 나오는 백코러스에서 맨 왼쪽의 가수)
뮤직비디오는 없고, 유튜브에 노래와 포토로 이루어진 슬라이드 동영상이 있어서 삽입해 봅니다.
제가 신입사원 시절, 힘들 때 이 노래를 들으면서 마음을 추스렸던 기억이 나네요. 시작 부분에 꿍짝, 꿍짝~ 하면서 시작하는 리듬이 좋았어요. 가사도 좋고요.
그리고 하단은 UCC로 올라온 버전인데 좋아서 소개합니다. 어떤 할아버지 연주자의 노래인데 참 편하게 노래를 잘 부르시네요. 원곡과는 분위기가 다릅니다만 이것도 매력있습니다.
