[올드팝] You Are My Sunshine

제가 중1때부터 좋아하는 노래인데요. 지난 올드팝 포스트에서도 언급을 했었죠.

이번에 소개해 드릴 것은 오리지널 곡이 아니라, You Needed Me로 유명한 Anne Murray가 오래 전에 리메이크한 버전입니다. 역시나 슬픈 가사를 경쾌한 리듬에 맞추어 부르고 있습니다.

이 노래의 재미있는 점이 있는데, 전반부는 원곡인 You Are My Sunshine으로 진행이 되다가 갑자기 So let the sun shine in… 부분부터 멜로디와 가사가 바뀝니다. 그런데 잘 들어보시면 후렴의 두번째 반복부터 배경 음악으로 You Are My Sunshine이 깔리는 것을 들을 수 있습니다. I Understand라는 올드팝과 같은 필의 노래입니다.

노래의 후반부 가사 내용을 지쳐있는 누군가에게 전달하고 싶군요. ^^
