제가 좋아하는 노래 하나 소개하죠. Shakin' Stevens의 Because I Love You입니다.

Shakin' Stevens는 주로 5,60년대 스타일의 락큰롤을 부른 가수였는데 1980년대에 영국에서 꽤 인기가 있었습니다.

흥겨운 리듬의 록큰롤 멜로디와 엘비스 스타일의 춤이 주특기였는데, “Because I Love You”는 Shakin' Stevens의 노래 중에서 몇 안 되는 팝 발라드 중 하나입니다.

1986년 노래이며 영국 차트 14위까지 올랐었다고 합니다. 아, 벌써 20년이나 되었군요. 하지만 지금 들어도 여전히 좋은 노래라고 생각합니다.
